Jeff & Jodi's Wedding

Jeff and Jodi had a great day for their wedding (and ya just never know up here what you're gonna get), the weather was beautiful. You could see throughout the day how fortunate these two are to have so many people that love them very much. They both have very close combined families that have been friends for years. They had a fabulous reception at an Aunt & Uncles land south of Rhinelander. They have a beautiful lake with a fountain and the most beautiful setting. It was a great place to celebrate Jeff & Jodi's marriage.
I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek, done a little different than usual. Here's the highlights from Jeff & Jodi's big day!

Neil & Kristen Engagement

No doubt about it, Neil & Kristen have a little apple fetish. Actually, they have the most adorable story involving an apple, so we naturally had to make that a part of their engagement session. We actually ended up with a bit of an Adam & Eve theme going on, how fun is that! I can't wait to photograph their wedding in the Dells this fall, its going to be amazing!

Dan & Alisha

Pretty in pink! When I asked Alisha if she had a theme for her wedding, she said "Princess". Surrounded by a sea of pink, I'll bet Alisha felt like a princess. She certainly looked like one. Dan was so sweet and enthralled by his beautiful new bride. It's so much fun to be a part of these once in a lifetime special moments between two people. I love my job! It doesn't get any better than this.

Mike & Jessica Engagement

Mike & Jessica are getting married at Holiday Acres in the fall so naturally we had their session there. They love to take walks together, so I really love the picture of them on a walk. And seriously, how cute is their dog Millie (Milwaukee)?! Adorable! Jessica was so natural during the session, it really showed through in their pictures. I wish I could convince everyone to relax and be themselves in front of the camera the way she is!
Thanks guys!

Sam's Field Trip

Yea, School Out for the Summer! But not before we went on one last field trip. It was definitely one of the best ones I've been on so far.
First we took a ride on the "Wilderness Queen" which took us up and back down the Wisconsin River for a little ways. Fun Fact: Did you know that the Wisconsin River was not for Wisconsin; Wisconsin was named for the Wisconsin River. In fact, the Wisconsin River was named long before any American Settlers came, they couldn't pronounce or spell the original name and so they Americanized it a bit and it became Wisconsin. Anyway, the Wilderness Queen is awesome, I'm for sure doing it again, maybe for their Murder Mystery cruise, Fun!
After that "Cliff the Magic Man" came and performed for the kids. Even I was amazed!
Then we went to the Logging Museum at Pioneer Park, where volunteers showed us what life was like in the Logging times. There was a schoolhouse, with a volunteer who actually taught in a one room school, Wow! They also had a cook shanty, bunkroom, firehouse, and train museum with a live working model train that went around old-time Rhinelander.
Most of the pics you see were made by Sam and his friend Gwen, they did a great job!
